The Master of Applied Computer Science reinforces what students learned in their Bachelor of Applied Computer Science or other technical applied Bachelor programme with theoretical and practice-oriented knowledge in the area of Embedded Systems. Graduates of the programme are capable of meeting the requirements of software development tasks in this high-tech field. Particularly, the programme imparts essential advanced technical knowledge and know-how in selected areas of computer science and electronic technology which are required for the development of complex electronic Embedded Systems.

In addition, graduates will be qualified for independent and creative work in applied research and development in the aforementioned areas.

By successfully completing certain modules of an Electronic Technology programme from the University of Pilsen in the Czech Republic, students also have the opportunity to earn a double degree from both universities. Additionally, it paves the way for a doctoral course of study and thus for a career in scientific fields.
