Many things run electronically today, from car windows, mobile phones and computers, through to the generation of electricity and energy conversion. Even large factory machines have complicated electrical control systems, such as robots that assemble cars. On completion of their studies, young electronic engineers help to further develop the modern world in which we live in. There are job opportunities to be found in both large scale industry and in small/medium-sized industry, as well as in the trade sector or as an independent contractor or in the public sector working for associations and research institutions.

As electrical engineering is a highly innovative engineering science, permanent training is still necessary even after graduation.
