Who doesn’t want to stand at least once behind the camera, work at a radio station, create 3D visualizations or program professional websites? The Bachelor's degree in Media Technology at the Deggendorf Institute of Technology conveys a broad sense of expertise in print, TV/Film and radio in new media and internet applications. These engineering fundamentals, computer science and techniques of digital media with media- specific knowledge in graphics, video and audio are combined to enable our graduates to become self-responsible professionals as an engineer.

The focus of the engineering program here is on the technical content. Students can choose to deepen their knowledge in a chosen field by choosing electives, during their internship and during their bachelor thesis. Fields of interest are broad, such as film, graphics, audio engineering, and animation or computer science. The media technicians have their own television and radio stations.

From the completion of a bachelor’s degree, students can apply for a master at the Deggendorf Institution of Technology.
