Turning Innovation into Businesssilicon-valley-program-1

“Deutschland ist the land of innovation. However, countless business ideas and innovations lie abandoned on work benches or in cellars just waiting for the opportunity to be developed. Only a minority of creative visionaries possess the knowledge and a suitable concept to bring their ideas, developments and prototypes to a global market," explains Professor Peter Schmieder, Course Director for DIT's unique pioneer program. “Unfortunately, in the past this led to local companies losing out to their American competitors. German inventions such as the video recorder and the mp3 player were originally developed into a commercial product and launched onto the global market by large American companies," continues Professor Schmieder.

In a nutshell, this program is structured to turn vision into business by implementing the Silicon Valley marketing spirit. It is an extra-occupational course, meaning it is comfortably designed around students working full-time in their respective careers.
