Our knowledge, for your benefit – Knowledge and Technology Transfer.
In addition to research and teaching, knowledge and technology transfer is one of the key functions of a university. This refers to all interactions between university and practice; in particular, in the fields of research, development and application as well as all supporting and promoting functions in this context. The transfer point is an important interface between research and practice. It facilitates all processes which serve to ensure successful cooperation between businesses and the university.
Starting points for cooperation are numerous; for example:
- You have identified a need for research in the development of a new product, procedure or service and are seeking collaboration with a competent partner.
- Development ideas from the University seeking the opportunity to be realized in practice.
- You are looking for students or graduates (internships or theses in combination with practice, dual study programme, future employees).
Furthermore, events, fairs and public relations work offer the opportunity to get to know possible partners and to establish initial contacts. At the Deggendorf Institute of Technology, Knowledge and Technology Transfer is understood as a “give and take” process, from which both sides of a cooperation profit equally.
