Hi, I’m Cristóbal Pérez, 20 years old and a Mechatronics bachelor’s student in my 3rd semester.

Do you have any questions about student life and the Bachelor'programme Mechatronics? I would be happy to share my experience with you and give you an insight into life as a DIT student. I am looking forward to hearing from you!

Why did I choose this study programme?

Mechatronics is an interdisciplinary field that combines mechanical, electrical, and computer engineering along with control systems to design and develop intelligent systems. And it is because of this and my fascination with the whole world of technology, that led me to the decision to choose this bachelor's degree in mechatronics.

My personal tip For you:

  • Being passionate about your career
  • Be focused
  • Have a good knowledge of mathematics
  • Disposition to study

Good to know:

  • Electrical circuit operation
  • Basic physics
  • Programming languages
  • Advanced knowledge in mathematics

That's what I particularly like about my course of studies:

The bachelor's degree in mechatronics at DIT is a very complete career, since it gives you all the necessary tools to be a great mechatronics engineer in the future, and I love that, as in the future I will be able to use all the knowledge acquired here to get a great job.

That is why you should study at the DIT/ECRI:

You should choose this career at DIT, because it offers everything a student wants to have, for example, green areas, a great city, many extracurricular activities, a beautiful campus that inspires you to study and of course a great academic level which will help you develop new skills. But what I admire most about DIT, is the support provided by the professors, as they are always available to help you with any problem.

My best experience during my studies:

My best experience during my studies is to be able to share my thoughts and my point of view with my classmates and teachers. This makes us grow as a person and gives us knowledge which, if we know how to handle it, can be very useful in the future.
