Awareness raising and initial consultation services (Digital Audit)
Initial and awareness-raising consultation is a key measure to facilitate access to DInO services for companies and public sector institutions and establish a systematic approach to promote and accelerate digitalization in small and medium-sized enterprises and public sector institutions. They often face the challenge that they lack the necessary knowledge about technologies and their possible applications as well as the resources to fully tap into the potential of digitalization.
The initial and awareness-raising consultation offers tailored support in objectively assessing the digital capabilities and digital maturity of the organizations concerned in a personal appointment on-site or online. In addition to the personal consultation, the implementation of standardized checks is an essential part of the initial and awareness-raising consultation to be able to provide targeted recommendations for further consultation.
Based on the results, initial guidance and recommendations for action can be given. This often reveals potential uses of technologies that many smaller organizations are not yet aware of. Once the needs of the company or public institution have been determined, the most suitable services of the DInO partners are presented and, if interested, a referral is made to the relevant experts of the DInO team to enable in-depth consultation.
Service Example
A joinery is offered support in completing the E.U.'s Digital Maturity Assessment (DMA) questionnaires to enable a comprehensive assessment of its level of digitalization and create a sound basis for planning and implementing the company's digitalization strategy. Based on the results, a high level of digital maturity is determined and the use of digital twins in production to reduce costs in the joinery is considered. This is followed by a referral to DInO experts in the field of high-performance computing (HPC) capacities to develop a joint concept for a sustainable increase in efficiency in the joinery based on simulations. To be better prepared for the risks of a digitally supported way of working, the workforce is furthermore referred to DInO experts from the Functional & IT Security partners.
