Founders' Academy

We aim to comprehensively support digital founders, entrepreneurs, municipalities, and intrapreneurs in developing their innovative business ideas. To do this, we provide these stakeholders with a structured qualification framework that guides them on their journey to a validated business model concept. It is especially important to us to include municipalities in this support, as we believe that the development of digital business models and entrepreneurial thinking is essential in this area as well. Through our programs, Real Projects and StartUp Factory, participants benefit from extensive knowledge and hands-on training modules. The workshop content ranges from value proposition design to (digital) business modeling and testing, business planning, team development, and pitch training. These programs take place twice a year.

Challenge from a Regional Company: 
Local doctors, often looking for successors due to age, cannot publicly announce this to avoid causing concern among the population. 

Existing Solution: 
Doctors turn to the "Gesundheitsregion Plus," which acts as an intermediary and connects potential successors with the current practice owners. This mediation is currently conducted manually by an employee. 

Developed App: 
Students from an interdisciplinary team developed an app during our workshop to optimize and digitize this mediation process. 

How the App Works: 

  1. Mediation Platform: 

  • Discreet Contact: Doctors can anonymously search for successors and discreetly make contact. 

  • Matching: The app connects potential successors with practice owners. 

  1. Regional Information: 

  • Comprehensive Regional Info: New doctors, often from other areas, receive information about the region, such as municipalities in the service area, distance to larger cities (e.g., Passau), educational institutions, and quality of life. 

Implementation Options: 

  1. Automation: 

  • The app could automate the entire process, from searching to mediation. 

  • Benefits: Increased efficiency, reduced workload for the employee. 

  1. Support for Employees: 

  • The app could assist the employee by gathering preliminary information and providing structured data. 

  • Benefits: Maintains human contact, provides targeted personal support. 

Through our workshop, we were able to positively support a company in developing its business model.
