This course is aimed at midwives and midwifery nurses who are committed to professionally guiding midwifery trainees and students, providing individual learning support and supporting the development of the competences of trainees and students.

The aim is to enable the participating midwives to provide professional practical instructions and make an important contribution to professionalisation in midwifery.
The participants develop a professional self-conception that supports the development and focuses on the promotion of trainees and students.

Module 1: Evidence-based action (30 h Attendance, 30 h Self-study)

Module 2: Vocational pedagogical basics and practical learning (60 h Attendance, 60 h Self-study)

Module 3: Ethical and intercultural competence (30 h Attendance, 30 h Self-study)

Module 4: Legal basics and professional policy aspects (30 h Attendance, 30 h Self-study)


Total: 300 h Workload (150 h Attendance and 150 h Self-study)

 

The university certificate comprises 10 ECTS credits, which can be credited to a later degree programme.

organisational matters

The university certificate is designed for part-time work and lasts 5 months. In addition to 150 hours of classroom study, 150 hours of self-study are planned (total workload: 300 hours)
