ai - changing our lives

Just as electricity brought about far-reaching changes over 100 years ago, artificial intelligence (AI) has fundamentally started to change our lives. AI is the next phase of the industrial revolution and has established itself firmly in our society. Almost all branches of industry have been affected by the ongoing transformation through its algorithms.

The Master of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science course addresses this transformation by providing you as a student with the broad and in-depth skills required to work with and develop AI. You will be trained how to obtain, process and store enormous amounts of data, which is the root of AI and development processes.

Unique to master programmes in this field is the integrated internship that you are required to complete, providing you with invaluable work experience in your chosen field.

In addition, this course of studies strengthens EU goals of cooperative learning, research and teaching. Due to the cross-border nature of the course, its embeddedness in regional high-tech companies and its international character, you will not only gain expertise and practice in this sector but also benefit from a diverse and multicultural student community that will promote your intercultural skills and provide a solid foundation for innovative thinking.

Degree: Master of Science (M.Sc.)/ Master - A joint degree from DIT and the University of South Bohemia (USB)

Duration: 4 semesters (2 years) - If applicable, you can have a semester of practical training from your Bachelor's degree recognised.

ECTS points: 120

Start:

  • March (summer semester at DIT)

Please note that - regardless of the opening of the applicant portal - applications for the Artificial Intelligence and Data Science master degree programme can only be considered if they have been submitted by 30 November. This internal deadline, which must be observed urgently, is due to organisational reasons - applications received later, will likely not be accepted, as the underlying administrative process can no longer be completed in time.

Please note:
