Yes, DIT is an internationally state-accredited public university of applied sciences in Germany. Our degrees follow the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) standards (Bologna Process), which ensures compatibility and quality. Our degrees are awarded as Bachelor’s, Master’s, or MBA with clear international equivalents.

Most of our master’s programmes are completed over 3 semesters, which is approximately 18 months or 1.5 years.
The academic year is divided into two semesters:
- Winter Semester: 1 October – 14 March
- Summer Semester: 15 March – 30 September
Lecture Periods:
- Winter Semester Lectures: 1 October – end of January, followed by an exam period
- Summer Semester Lectures: Mid-March – mid-July, followed by an exam period

Yes, you can apply. However, the missing ECTS credits must be obtained retrospectively in accordance with our guidelines. Please get in touch with the contact for your chosen course to discuss options available.
The admission team is unable to offer preliminary assessments. Your documents and educational background will be reviewed for eligibility after you have submitted a complete application. Generally, to be eligible for postgraduate programmes you are advised to have completed an undergraduate bachelor's programme in the same subject or in a related subject.
Our application portal called Primuss generates a list of documents which you are required to upload for your chosen programme. Any additional documents are not required and will not benefit your application any further.
GRE/GATE certificate is not mandatory. However, applicants having obtained their academic training (e.g., undergraduate degree) in non-member states of the Lisbon convention are recommended to submit it.
If you get admitted, you may be eligible to transfer some credits, depending on the similarity of course content. However, the final decison regarding credit transfer will only be made by your faculty after starting your studies at our university.
